- Candidates should have passed HSC or Equivalent Examination with an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (For SC / ST candidates not less than 40% aggregate is essential)

- Students from SC, ST are eligible for Government Scholarship.
- Students who have studied from 6th to 12th standard in Government / Government Aided School may also have a scholarship of Rs. 1000/- (Pudhumai Penn Scheme) every month till the courses are finished.
- College functions between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm for theory classes. Lunch break 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm.
- Students must report for Clinicals by 8.00 am and leave by 12.30 pm during clinical postings.
- Students must have 90% attendance is eligible for writing Board Examinations.
- Wear prescribed uniform, neatly ironed with hair tied up.
- Use black cut shoes with black socks.
- Analog wristwatch & ID card are mandatory.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited; offenders face dismissal.
